Goal = 5000 votes on survey (see I-485 filing w/o current PD thread) and momentum to continue with this campaign.The survey is a platform to gather and push for launching action items. Based on response by 04/30/2011 - IV will decide whether to even proceed with initiative or not.

Dear IV Members,
If you believe that your success depends on your immigration process - whether it's the ability to file I-485 earlier or to get green-card and citizenship sooner or whether it's the ability of your spouse to work - then you have to believe that your success somehow depends on the success of Immigration voice and these 170 volunteers in DC next week.
As you may know, we are just one more week away from hosting Advocacy day in Washington DC where about 170 members of Immigration Voice will conduct nearly 250 meetings with offices of Senators and Congressmen. Such events cost money. If we have enough contributions, we can spend as per our budget of nearly $ 50,000. If not, we will have to cut back on the event spending and reduce the magnitude and size of the event.
If you are not coming to DC next week, please do your part and contribute funds to Immigration Voice. It not only finances the event properly, it instills pride and confidence in the members who will be there in DC that there are thousands of willing supporters behind them who could not be there physically but are 100% with them in their determination and resolve.

I am in same boat as you.
2 i-140's approved with same company, both are EB2, one is RIR one is PERM.
PERM one had Jan 2006 PD where my RIR had Nov 2004.
I-485 was applied using Nov 2004. USCIS may be looking at other one and thinking PD is not current. What a mess.
leoindiano, I too have exactly same situation. Two I140 both EB2, one RIR (Nov 2004) and other PERM (Jan 2006). I called Nebraska SC using POJ method and verified with them if both 140 are linked to my 485 application or not. IO confirmed it over the phone and then reiterated that later PD is going to get picked up so my case is current per them. So, I would suggest that you do the same thing.
Another thing is that, after opening a service request, you can send a followup email to ncsc email address and get your query about priority date answered . I did that too and even got response from them . (Both A# consolidation and difference in PD)

I believe it will be the same old story. They will wait till last quarter and then will waste thousands of visa numbers because of their darn slow processing hands and we people will again start talking optimism from Oct 2010.
What happened to the IV's talk with USCICS on spillover policies? Does anybody know?

this must be a change in USCIS policy since in the past the spill over from EB2 ROW went to EB3 ROW and then to India and China EB2.
USCIS must have changed their policy to help established the cutoff date for EB2 India. so now the spill over from EB2 ROW goes to China and India EB2
No, EB3 ROW can use all the available EB3 ROW numbers. But the unused EB2 (ROW/Mex/Phil) have been distributed to the oversubscribed countries.
That's how I interpret that.
The popular belief was that the unused EB2 ROW would first go EB3 ROW but according to this they actually go to the oversubscribed countries in the same category (EB2)

Can i know why you were called for personal interview. Is your I-485 Based on future Employment or did u have an Arrest record. If You have a record it might take a while to get your back ground check.

however after coming here , Paid for my own ticket and landed here on start of january 2011.

5. I dont want these suckers to go scott free, so how to build my case here , can i ask the DOL to recover my wages for 4 months i wasnt getting paid.
I do not care if i get any wages or not from them , but i really wanna see the locks on the gates of this company. They shouldn't take H1B and its applicant for scapegoats.
Any advices are welcome to help me bring these guys to justice.
There are others who advised you about what to do so I am not adding to it. If you want to prevent this happening to others you can expose the company here and in other forums...

I am a July 2007 filer, so far i have never got finger prints on my EAD. First time i did not get a FP notice. I scheduled an info pass appointment and got my FP notice.. gave FP in Feb 2008. I got my first EAD in Oct 2007.
My latest EAD ( approved Jul 2010) does not have the finger prints on it. Last time I gave my FP was in June 2009 ( Notice sent by USICS ). Is that something to worry? Is it related to NC ?

Our PDs are close.Mine is jul-06 eb3/I. My family's all 485s had a soft LUD on 03/31/2009 and today 04/01/2009. I am thinking it could be because of 2nd finger print notices for our family.
